There have been some changes in the Healthcare Improvement Scotland team with Jan Manson securing a new role with the Scottish Medicines Consortium and Michele Hilton Boon leaving to undertake a PhD at Glasgow University.  Best wishes for Jan and Michele for these new endeavours and special thanks for their efforts on the RARE-Bestpractices project.

The new team members are Jenny Harbour, Evidence and Information Scientist and Lorna Thompson, Health Services Researcher. Both Jenny and Lorna have worked with HIS for some years and are very happy  to now be involved in the RARE-Bestpractices project.

We are also delighted to welcome the new member of the RARE-Bestpractices Advisory Board  Sonja Kersten.  Sonja participates  in the RARE-Bestpractices project  representing the Guidelines International Network (G-I-N).  She is member of the G-I-N Board of Trustees  and the Director of quality improvement at the Integraal Kankercentrum Nederland IKNL (NL).
