Rare Diseases and Orphan Drugs Journal (RARE Journal) is the official journal of RARE-Bestpractices Project. RARE Journal is a new international open access, online, peer-reviewed journal published three times per year, with no publishing fees. RARE Journal has been substantially redesigned in 2015. The journal is now published with the support of Il Pensiero Scientifico Editore (Italy) – a leading international publishing house in field of biomedical research and science.

The first and second 2016 issue of RARE Journal are now available on the journal website (www.rarejournal.org). They include papers frm India, Spain and Bulgaria, focusing on cystinosis, disability evaluation in rare diseases, rare disease epidemiological registries and cystic fibrosis.
