The second conference of the International Rare Diseases Research Consortium (IRDiRC) was held in China on 7 - 9 November 2014.

Overall aim of the conference was promoting international collaborations in the field of rare diseases involving Chinese researchers and clinicians.

Delegates from Europe, North and South America, Africa, and Asia-Pacific attended the conference which provided the opportunity to learn and share knowledge and experiences in the topics of Diagnostics, Interdisciplinary-Technologies, Therapies, and Educational.
